Mama June Shannon’s Family Mourns Second Tragic Death
Sharing two photos of a brunette man with facial hair, Jo “Doe Doe” Shannon reveals her family has suffered a second tragic loss. A man named Darrel Jackson passed away just two days before Christmas.
Mama June’s sister proceeded to share all of his family titles as well as how she was related to him. Turns out, Jo Shannon was Darrel’s sister-in-law. Here’s what she had to say in the caption of her tribute to him on social media:
Heaven gained another angel Saturday. Darrel Jackson he was a son, brother, father, uncle and my BiL he will be missed. We shared a birthday and some great times. Oh the stories we had.
Her post did not share how old he was or what his cause of death was. It, however, did include a hashtag that suggested his death was sudden and unexpected: “gone too soon.”

Fans of Mama June Shannon’s family could not believe they suffered another tragic loss days before Christmas. As such, they rushed into the comments of the post to pay their condolences to Mama June Shannon’s sister and her family during this difficult time. Here’s what some of her followers had to say:
